This image was made for the CGTalk Strange Behavior competition, I had so much fun working on this project, the feedback and comments were awesome! What I love the most about this image is the idea of two characters from different worlds and backgrounds becoming the best of friends and ready to go off into the world and fight evil and danger together, using both their unique skills and abilites.

This was done over the thanksgiving holiday, based on a character I had originally designed in 2d but wanted to take into the 3d realm. I have him flying on his hover Afro Pick, as he fights in the ghettos of deep space. I hope you have as much fun looking at the image as I did creating it. I really tried to go for a really stylized look and feel for this image, and to also make it appear like an upcoming movie poster, or something to that nature.

This is another character that started out as a quick sketch and progressed on to photoshop, I tried to give him alot of unique fluid shapes to make his design much more interesting to look at. This was from a sketch i did a while ago, and i decided to try and color it in flash. I wanted a simple, yet elegant look and feel. I feel the simplicity of things is what truly reads well with all audiences. So in this particular piece I have the nude woman sitting with her legs crossed, and having a slight gesture towards herself and a certain area of her body as well. Instead of locking her in a hard black line and flattening her, I wanted to give her colored strokes that were slightly darker than her main color. I took the image and bumped up the color slightly in photoshop to add a bit more saturation to the image, I also added a slight blush tone as well to pop out her cheeks a bit. All in all I think it was pretty sucessful.
